Log Message:
Adding getChildTextNormalize, from the patch by Kent Johnson.  This makes
us consistent with the other getChildText methods.  Perhaps we'll need to
remove all of these, but I personally hope not since I use them all the
time, and in the meanwhile we might as well be consistent.
