[jdom-interest] Schema data type support

Hi,

I've been using JDOM both @ work and @ home for some time now and have found
it to be excellent! (save all the recent name changes :)

Is there any current (or planned) way to access the data-type (string,
boolean, int, etc.) of an element/attribute?

I guess one option is to load the schema document itself but these things
can be quite complicated to process!
