[jdom-interest] association of the schema information with an element

Hi
is anyone aware of a mechanism to retrieve the W3C schema information
related to an element, from the element

I know that I could parse the schema file myself, but I am trying to
avoid this.

Are there any hooks left around for the validating parser that could be
used, or is there any other 3th party tools/utilities available
