[jdom-interest] getting cvs access

while i may not be ready to start commiting code to jdom id like to have access
to the cvs commit mailing list. If there is a selection process for access is
it possible to simply have a password for read then? im asking because I assume
the password on the  jdom.org/involved/subscribe_comments.html is asking for
a cvs password.
