[jdom-interest] Can I contribute to the source development

I was using my own adapter to enable a call to setDocumentClassName in
org.apache.xerces.parsers.DOMParser.

I want it to build something derived from
org.apache.xerces.dom.DocumentImpl.

I can't see how to do that with the SAXBuilder.
