[jdom-interest] Reg using image name as an attribute and rendering

Hello all, 
          I am not sure if such q's can be sent to this forum. But please direct me if you know of a suitable one.
 The Q is,
1) I have an image name which is passed as an attribute in the XML doc. I have to use XSL to render it. But when I try to write the output as I do in the html code. I just get the text in the browser "<img src= "somename.gif" />. Can you pleas help me on this?
