[jdom-interest] XPath check without applying XPath

Hi !

I have a big XML-file (Let's say 100 MB),
a reference to an element and a XPath like "./**/person/**/key".
Now I want to check whether my element is part of the XPath selection.

Applying the XPath is quite overkill, because
I get some thousands of elements and have to scroll over the
resulting list.

Is there a chance to use the werken library to do
this check ???
