[jdom-interest] What is wrong with JDOM?

This is the 2nd Sun package Ive downloaded where it states something
like this:

This is the early access of the JAXM Reference Implementation. This
release is built using JDOM and the APIs extend the JDOM APIs. This will
change in
     the future revisions of the implementation to match the
specification that comes out of the JAXM expert group.

What does this mean?  That JDOM will be replaced or when JDOM is moved
to 1.0 that they will adapt it?
