[jdom-interest] Using JDOM in VisualAge for Java 3.5.3

I use it every day :-)

The JDOM FAQ entry on this will get you what you need.  Ignore the step
about changing the owner to Administrator if you are not using the
Enterprise version of VAJ.  One other caveat.  If you do that, your
classpath for the websphere test environment (if you use it) will have to
have the new DOM project added to it.
