[jdom-interest] Schema Validation

Hi,

I will like to find whether it's possible to do schema validation using JDOM. The parser I'm using is Xerces 1.4. 
If the schema is not defined in the XML, how can I validate the XML with a schema? Thanks in advance for any help.
