?? Does the xerces.jar file that comes with the JDOMb6 release give me the
DOM/SAX II classes and interfaces?
If so here is what I had to do to get things to run in VA
I modified the IBM project "IBM XML Java Parser" that is loaded when you
load the WebSphere Test Environment or the IBM XMmodefy the features from
Quick Start on VA. The modification entailed removing the three org.xxx
packages that overlap with xerces.jar.
Then I added a new project that was the xerces.jar. At this point all errors
where resolved with the JDOM packages, JDOM samples, and the WebSphere test
environment.
To get servlet engine to run I had to update the classpath on the servlet
engine for the xerces.jar.
