[jdom-interest] API Inertia

First, thanks for JDOM. I have been using it a lot lately.

I haven't followed this discussion in detail, so you may
have already talked about this. One thing I'd really like
to see is for a Document to have an ElementFactory
and an Element to have an AttributeFactory or some
other method to allow basic classes to be extended
easily.
