[jdom-interest] Serialization

Hi, just joined the mailing list to find out about serialization.
I know there was a brief mention recently but I'd like to know
if anybody has an idea of when it may be available. I have
an application which needs to save its state using serialization
and I need to know if I need to make some big hacks to
get arounds jdom's problems or if it might be fixed in some
timeframe.

BTW, the error I'm getting is
java.io.NotSerializableException: org.jdom.ContentList$FilterList
