[jdom-interest] Why is JDOM still in beta?

Howdy,

I am really liking the JDOM. I think I first heard about it 2 or 3 years ago in
a talk by Jason Hunter in Santa Clara at an O'Reilly java conference.

What are the issues keeping it from a 1.0 release?

It is disturbing to think I might release the next version of my CMS app using
beta technology, but I am not finding any bugs. Well, that is not true... I
don't know if it is a bug, but I can't use a JDOM source built from an XSL (used
for an xsl:include/import).

what is the dealio?
