[jdom-interest] jdom releases

Hi all,

I've been looking at jdom with interest (no pun intended), and since a
couple of days I'm following the discussions here.
I have a first quick question:

Judging from the jdom.org site, the last 'official' jdom version is beta-8.
However, this version dates back to 03/28/2002 which is about 9 months ago. 
What is the time-frame for the next 'official' (beta/1.0/...) release?
