[jdom-interest] Quesetion of JDOM b8

I used JDOM b8 on the environment of jdk1.3.1 and jdk1.4.0, I got a error below:
 Error #: 314 : cannot access class com.sun.java.util.collections.List; class not found: class com.sun.java.util.collections.List at line 22, column 24

When I used JDOM b7, this question was disappeared.

Why and how can I use JDOM b8
