[jdom-interest] Xerces 2.4 testing

For beta9, I'd like to use a more recent version of Xerces.  It seems
like Xerces 2.3 has a few problems.  Has anyone tried the newest Xerces
2.4.0?  Could a few people, esp those doing schema validation, check out
2.4.0 and report back if it works on your projects?
