[jdom-interest] org.xml.sax.SAXNotRecognizedException

I'm getting the aforementioned exception while try to build a document 
from a StringReader. Specifically, I'm getting a NoClassDefFound 
exception when I try to use a SAXBuilder on a StringReader.

I'm on Mac OS X which maxes out at JVM 1.4.1. Is this exception a 
feature of 1.4.2 and is JDOM in fact what's throwing it?
