[jdom-interest] Can JDOM handle XML 1.1

Here's a quote from the 12/6/2004 email from Elliotte Rusty Harold when 
someone asked a very similar question:

> them the section of the XML 1.1 recommendation that recommends XML
> 1.0 be used wherever possible.
