[jdom-interest] Question regarding the validation

I have a very strange requirement of parsing an xml file validating against
a given DTD.  While validating if any error occurres either for xml parsing
or DTD violation should skip the entire node and continue.  Is it possible?
If yes can any one suggest me how to do that.
