  Hello, 
          I am near virginal to the integration of XML and Java. I would like to simply parse an XML file in a JSP page and pull the data. As a result I have been directed to JDOM and hence this mailing list. I've downloaded JDOM Beta 8. Thus far I have not come across any literature for installation. I have read the readme.txt  which does not seem to describe in great detail how to get started. 
          Can someone either point me in the right direction to such literature or give me some idea of where I neeed to extract the files, and where I can run some samples?
